London Metal Exchange

The London Metal Exchange Limited (LME):
This is the world's premier non-ferrous metals market, with highly liquid contracts. It is a highly successful exchange with a turnover value estimated at US$2,000 billion per annum. More than just playing a major part in contributing to the UK's invisible earnings, it is responsible for a figure of more than 250 million in overseas earnings each year.

Sucden is a leading Ring Dealing Member, the highest category of membership. Ring Dealing Members are Clearing Members who are entitled to all the privileges of Membership including the right to issue client contracts and hold the exclusive right to trade in the Ring.

ICE Futures Europe: 
The Exchange operates one of the leading electronic regulated futures and options exchange for global energy markets. ICE’s robust trading platform offers participants access to a wide spectrum of energy futures products. Contracts include the Brent and West Texas Intermediate (WTI) global crude benchmark contracts, Gas Oil, and Natural Gas.

ICE Futures U.S.:
The Exchange provides one global marketplace for futures and options contracts such as Sugar No.11, Sugar No.14, Cotton No. 2, Coffee “C”; and US Dollar Index. The Exchange also lists futures and options for Cocoa, Frozen Concentrated Orange Juice (FCOJ), Ethanol, Pulp, Russell Equity Indexes, NYSE Composite Index, Reuters Jefferies CRB Index, Continuous Commodity Index and a series of currency pairs.

   The London Bullion Market Association (LBMA):
Established in 1987, the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) represents the interests of the participants in the wholesale bullion market. The London bullion market is the focal point for the OTC precious metals trading and provides a service that is second-to-none for its diverse range of customers. These include: central banks, consumers, producers and investors.

EDX London:
Jointly owned by London Stock Exchange plc and OMX AB, EDX London has been trading Scandinavian equity derivatives since June 2003.

EDX London is a Recognised Investment Exchange (RIE), regulated by the Financial Services Authority.

One of the world's leading derivatives exchanges, Eurex is jointly operated by Deutsche Börse AG and SWX Swiss Exchange. COMEX is the world's primary and most dominant precious metals exchange. It trades a wide range of metals which include copper, gold and silver.

London Clearing House Clearnet (LCH.Clearnet):
The organisation was founded in 1888 to clear sugar and coffee trades in London and was originally known as the London Produce Clearing House. Once it has registered a trade, it becomes the buyer to every seller and the seller to every buyer (a process known as novation), thereby guaranteeing that the financial obligations of trades are met.

LCH.Clearnet clears trades conducted on ICE Futures, Liffe, the London Stock Exchange and the London Metal Exchange (LME). It is a recognised clearing house under the regulatory supervision of the Financial Services Authority (FSA).
